The year has started with a bang! We are working on a range of hugely exciting projects which we are looking to launch over the coming weeks.

Another thing to look forward to is the St. Patrick's Day Drop that we are taking part in on the 13th March. It is a 140ft abseil all in the name of charity!

2010 marked the birth of our recipe initiative A Taste of Our Community. We are collecting people's favourite recipes and the story behind them in order to give others a real 'feel' for different cultures as well as cuisines. The scheme has been designed to bring together residents of the social housing community, with food as the underlying theme. For more information, please see out Inititaives tab.

Meanwhile, the Emerald team and Worcester Community Housing have been working alongside the In to Business competion winners in order to realise their business dream, New Hope. Jean Wilson and Sallie Wyatt will run the business that will provide childcare provision for children with disabilities and their families during term time and holidays.

The approved branding for New Hope has been applied to a range of stationary, and the website will be created over the coming months.

Most of our client websites benefit from a user defined bespoke content management system to allow in house management of all content.

Our system, Amethyst, has been developed over the last 6 years to be a leading CMS, designed around the needs of website administrators who have limited technical skills, and including a range of functions that deliver benefits and advantages for the client.

Many of the functions included in the current version have been developed as a result of client requests or suggestions, and each new project brings opportunities to enhance Amethyst even further.
