United Health engaged Emerald to develop and implement a marketing plan for the opening of a new NHS GP practice in Leicester city centre. The target they set was to have 250 new registered patients within 3 months of the opening day.

After conducting our own research we developed a strategy that incorporated a range of advertisements, targeted leaflet campaigns, local networking and onsite banners and a host of other printed material. By the end of 3 months, the campaign delivered more than 300 new patients to the practice, target achieved and a real return on investment.

Emerald’s extensive experience in the NHS, and primary care in particular, was an important factor in United Health’s choice of Emerald. The NHS has strict guidelines concerning the messages and methods that can be used in any local promotional activity and these were considered in all the Leicester activity.

EO Joinery, a Cheshire based company that specialises in wooden gates and doors set us the task of increasing appropriate traffic to their existing website with a target of increased enquiries and orders.

After implementing a series of improvements to the website, Emerald created an online marketing strategy to drive potential customers to their website. Once implemented, using both SEO and PPC, the website appeared on the 1st page of Google for the chosen search terms. EO Joinery has as a result of the strategy implemented received increases in traffic of 200% and increased enquiries.

The ongoing SEO campaign monitors changes in keywords and website traffic and website content is amended to reflect these changes.
